First things first. One of the most important if not the no. 1 reason is the price of this little guy. Its MSRP is $130 for the big dog, an eight-gig silver model. $100 for the four gig version, and $80 for the two-gig version. Dont have the cash to shell out for the big dog yet. No problem, it has a microSD expansion slot, so you can add it on when your ready. So I give it 2 thumbs up on price when compared to a $200 iPod nano!
Now video… Not so good. Still no mpeg-4 support or any of the NEW innovative formats (divx).. Now as for software. You can use PODCAST, and it even bookmarks your place everytime. Its so smart. Record features. Record away. Now its not a physical record button, but embedded in the software which i think is better to stop accidental recording. Now Music, has great playback with a near perfect equalizer. Quality is there and you will notice. Battery life? They say it will last 24 hrs of non-stop music dancin’. We took there word. What do you think. I think this is a big step up for Sansa, and you will enjoy this little player.
